Have you ever suffered through con crunch? Is your list of cos-plans 2 miles long? But do you still need to work to eat? While cosplay is a wonderful hobby, it is very easy to get swallowed whole by the time-consuming nature of the experience. It’s equally important that we make time to take care of ourselves, and maintain balance. Don’t let “play” turn into “work!” At this panel, Kimidori will discuss time management, from the perspective of being a student, as well as a full-time worker. Come and see how simple it is to make progress on your cosplays, WITHOUT having to sacrifice your personal life!

Underdog materials and how to apply them!

Everyone has heard about the amazing traits of today’s cosplay materials, such as Worbla, EVA foam, and Transpa-art. But what about all the OTHER materials that make up a bulk of sewing projects? What does one do with rigid felt? What good can a hair curler do? And why should the kids’ crafts section be your best friend? This is the panel where Kimidori introduces some of the CHEAPER, more ACCESSIBLE materials that are within anyone’s reach, and how useful they can be when applied to various cosplay contexts!
